NORWALK, Conn., Jan 11, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- FactSet Research Systems Inc., (NYSE:FDS) a major supplier of computer-based financial and economic data to the investment community, today announced that FactSet market intelligence tools are available through the BlackBerry(R) wireless platform from Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM).
Wireless FactSet access will enhance clients' productivity by providing access to important information via BlackBerry, wherever, whenever information is needed. By leveraging the BlackBerry platform, FactSet clients can access IBCentral reports containing the same information and customized views available to client in the office.
