Lee Shavel
Mr. Shavel joined the Board in 2020. He is president and chief executive officer of Verisk Analytics, Inc., a global data analytics company. Mr. Shavel has been at Verisk since 2017, first serving as chief financial officer, then serving as chief financial officer and group president of the company’s energy and financial services groups.
Before joining Verisk, Mr. Shavel served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Nasdaq, Inc., from 2011 to 2016. His previous experience includes working as managing director and Americas head of Financial Institutions Investment Banking, in addition to other roles, at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Shavel graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania, with a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School.
